Karin Putsch-Grassi
born in Germany, she completed her apprenticeship in the Albrecht Kiedaisch ceramic workshop in Tübingen. In 1982, when she arrived in Florence, she obtained the "Master of Art" diploma with the master potters Cipolla and later in London with the English master potter John Colbeck.
Many of his works are made on the lathe and subsequently reworked and formally altered: defined by a linear and essential style, they are born from his inspiration from the natural world of the Tuscan countryside where he lives and works.
He also continues his research on the various self-built ceramic kilns, including an oven made using glass and clay bottles, which can cook up to 700 °.
