MARCELLO CHIARENZA , born in Sicily in 1955, graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan, has been working for decades in the field of symbolic figuration and dramaturgy of the festival, in the various roles of sculptor, painter, set designer, workshop conductor, author and theater director .
The themes he prefers are internal to the symbolic body of the solar year, to the elements of nature, to the cycle of seasons. These are themes that arise from the images kept by the breath of time, from the spiritual memory that history of religions and deep psychology study, emerge from the myths and fairy tales, from the immortal language that continues to speak to us through the forms of symbols.
